Leadership & Life Coaching for Social Changemakers

Being a leader right now is particularly difficult.
Leaders are facing challenges unlike any that I have seen in the last 20 years. We are grappling with existential crises. We are working with complex organizational dynamics and real questions around equity and belonging. We also know that we have no time to lose in making impact in the world.
All of this fuels my approach to working with leaders.
Having sat in pretty much every seat in an organization, from organizer, to executive director to board chair, I understand first-hand how important it is to have a safe space to grapple with the challenges we’re facing in our daily work.
I’ve also experienced the profound power of being in relationship with a coach who truly understands that complexity — someone who can hold space for my wholeness and support me in my growth. Not just as an organizational leader, but as a mother, a partner, and a human navigating this world.
That’s exactly what I offer as a coach.
Does this sound familiar?
You don’t have enough time in the day to think big picture. Most of your day is in meetings and reacting instead of thinking creatively, deeply, or finding the headspace you need in order to arrive at insightful conclusions about the challenges that you’re grappling with.
You are overwhelmed with holding so much for everybody else. Your time and energy is focused on balancing the needs of the leaders around you, supporting your team, and managing complex organizational and funder dynamics. And you struggle to care for your own needs within all of this.
You fear that your team is on the edge of burnout.
You feel like you’re not living the vibrant life that you long for. You don’t have much left over at the end of the day for anything beyond taking care of the essentials.

As we work together you will:
Have space and time to reflect deeply and get clear on what really matters to you and how to confront the pressures you face.
Achieve the impact you envision by addressing barriers to high-functioning teamwork.
Gain clarity on what’s holding your team back — whether it’s unclear priorities, personal dynamics, misaligned goals, or a lack of awareness about what’s truly happening day-to-day. Together, we’ll tackle the challenges you feel unable to address alone, including navigating toxic dynamics and realigning your team toward shared success.
Cultivate a deeper sense of confidence in yourself and your leadership.
Develop more capacity to connect with the whole of your life. Through our work together, we can open your world up so that work is a vital part of it, and so is your personal life. Work will start to feel integrated with life as a whole and you will be able to bring more of your wholeness to work.
This offering might be a great fit for you if you are:
A mid, senior, or executive-level leader or manager in a progressive social change organization.
Searching for ways to become more powerful and centered as a leader in your work for social change.
Up for doing a deeper level of self-reflection, exploration, and personal development with a coach, and are willing to go outside of your comfort zone and try new practices, exercises, and activities to support your growth
This offering might not be the best fit for you if:
You're looking for quick fixes or prefer to stay focused on tactical approaches.
You're not ready to explore the connection between your inner world and how you show up as a leader.
You're navigating severe depression or anxiety and aren't currently working with a licensed mental health professional. Coaching is a wonderful complement to therapy, but it’s not a replacement for it.
My Approach
I am an Integral Coach. In this methodology of coaching we take a holistic approach to working with our clients, whether the coaching topic is professional, personal, or somewhere in between.
We work with issues directly, but also invite our clients to go a couple layers deeper and look at how to work with their challenges in a way that invites in all of the wisdom and insight that their minds, hearts, and bodies have to offer.
Some of the challenges my clients bring into coaching include:
communicating with others
working through imposter syndrome after getting a promotion
dealing with tough and sometimes toxic organizational dynamics
supporting their team as it grows and scales
figuring out how to navigate big change efforts
…just to name a few.
The topic that initially brings clients to coaching often connects to deeper, interwoven issues that span both their personal and professional lives. As we work together, we uncover and address these deeper layers, creating space for growth and healing that proves to be quite transformational.
For example, while working on management strategies, you might unexpectedly find your relationship with your partner shifting in meaningful ways, or discover a newfound sense of grounding as a parent.
This work might have to do with connecting with one's emotions, working with deeper fears, or some other facet of self-discovery that's more deeply rooted to the coaching topic.
My ultimate goal is to support you to live a life of deeper meaning and contribution, and make real impact in the world.
How it works
I typically work with clients on a 6-12 month timeframe with a plan to check in and take stock at the end of that time period. I work with the majority of my clients over zoom.
In a 6 month package we have 10 sessions together, meeting on a fortnightly (every 14 days) basis.
Pricing
Because I look at my work with clients as a holistic program that requires development and engagement on my end outside of our sessions, we agree in advance to a flat rate for the whole package rather than charging by the session.
My current rates for a 6 month engagement include:
$2,200 - $4,500 sliding scale for individuals paying themselves
$3,600 for clients receiving work-sponsored coaching in small to medium NGOs and businesses.
$4,500 for clients receiving work-sponsored coaching housed in foundations and larger non-profits or for-profits.
I am open to looking at lower rates or pro-bono work depending on the client's circumstances. The ability of clients to pay at higher levels enables me to do more of that low- and pro-bono work.
Flow of a 6 Month Package
Intake (90 min)
Here, we will dig into the issue(s) that you want to work with. This session also gives me insight into what your world looks like.
Purpose & Outcomes Review (15 - 30 min)
This is a quick check-in session where I will share back my understanding from our intake session and present a Purpose & Outcomes for our time working together, which we will revise and polish together. The Purpose & Outcomes are the foundation of the coaching program that I create for you, and it's crucial that they resonate with you before we move forward.
First Coaching Conversation (60 min)
During this meeting I will present the coaching program that I have designed uniquely for you guided by the Purpose & Outcomes we’ve agreed to. This program will include a self-reflection component, specific practices, and exercises that will support your development and growth.
Regular Coaching Sessions (9 - 60 min sessions)
Regular coaching sessions will be scheduled every 2 weeks. During these sessions we will work with concepts from the coaching program. These will primarily be a space for reflection and inquiry, with an opportunity for workshopping as needed. We will also explore whatever emergent topics feel important to our work together. As we progress through the program, I will occasionally provide you with additional resources, homework, or exercises to support your growth and learning.
Session 12: Review & Taking Stock (60 min)
It is important to me to create an intentional space to reflect with my clients on how they’ve grown in our time together. In this session, we make space to reflect on what’s opened up and shifted in this past six months, and to determine a path forward. We may find that you’ve gotten what you need from me and we decide to wrap up; some clients want to renew for another 6 months; or perhaps here's a hybrid of sorts. Together, we’ll co-create a plan that will support you.
